The Milwaukee Bucks extended their winning streak to eight games after defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 127-108 on Monday night.
Brook Lopez Leads the Bucks in Scoring
Brook Lopez led the team with 27 points and nine rebounds, while Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Jrue Holiday also contributed with 20 points.

The game was a homecoming for rookie MarJon Beauchamp, who played college basketball in Oregon, and his father was interviewed during the game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week
Earlier in the day, Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season, while Damian Lillard of the Trailblazers was named the Western Conference Player of the Week. During the game, Lillard led the Trailblazers with 28 points, while Antetokounmpo scored 24 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and dished out eight assists. Despite missing center Jusuf Nurkic due to a calf strain, the Trailblazers put up a good fight, but the larger and complete team effort from the Bucks proved too much to handle.

The win pushed the Bucks to 37-17, making them second in the Eastern Conference. They continue their west coast trip against the Lakers in LA on Thursday. The Milwaukee ‘ performance showcases their strength as a team and their ability to consistently put up wins. With Lopez and Antetokounmpo leading the way and Jrue Holiday adding to the team’s firepower, the Milwaukee are a team to watch as the NBA season progresses.
